Your guests will have plenty of opportunities to explore the charming town of Ellsworth, WI, as well as nearby Redwing, MN. With an abundance of shops, eateries, wineries, and attractions to choose from, there’s something for everyone!"

Connected to the riverfront wedding site, our location offers full reign of the 30-acre property, which includes 1,600 feet of Rush River frontage and 3+ miles of groomed trails through the forest. Couples looking for a one-of-a-kind Nature Adventure are welcome to take a stroll or a golf cart ride to one of the many other stunning photo opportunity locations.
Whether it’s panoramic views of the different river/river bluffs, the gorgeous hills of wild ferns growing their way up to the highest bluff on the property, or wide-open spaces sprinkled through the forest, River Bluff Weddings & Events offers the perfect photo opportunities for anyone who appreciates nature’s stunning beauty.
At River Bluff Weddings & Events (RBWE), couples enjoy a beautiful reception experience in our modern tents, which create an intimate and lovely turnkey reception. Options include rectangular or round table configurations for guests/head table, buffet or sit-down dining, a fully stocked bar, an area for a DJ/band, and a dance floor. In addition to exchanging your nuptials on the riverbank, the reception tent sits just upriver, truly providing a full-tilt river wedding experience.
The White Reception Tents are spacious and lovely. They can come with fully removable side curtains to give you and your guests an up-close look at the river, and can also accommodate your ceremony in case of bad weather. Refurbished barns and reception halls are nice, but a beautiful tent experience on the grass in the middle of paradise is what we have to offer.

Nature Inspired Wedding
The Restrooms: Our handicap-accessible restrooms are clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. They are conveniently located near the reception tent.

Fire Pit: - When the sun goes down out in the country, there is nothing like winding things down with a crackling campfire. *Split, stacked firewood is complementary, so just let us know what time you would like us to throw the match. Looking up at the night sky, there’s a great chance of ending your evening spotting a shooting star or two.
The Social Area (outside the reception tent):
Have fun with your guests with our yard games, including Cornhole, Horseshoes, and Bocce ball, or relax with a snack or beverage at one of the high-top tables.
Walking/Golf Cart Trails - You and your guests are welcome to experience our manicured trail system we have created next to the wedding site. Many guests have raved about the beautiful photo op locations they come across, and speaking from experience, there is a good bet that a cooler or two with the bride and groom's favorite beverages may be found along the way.

• Your day-of coordinator will work with us to ensure that everything goes smoothly and according to your plan.
•Bridal Suite: A comfortable, private, air-conditioned suite for pre-event preparation and relaxation featuring a private bathroom, mirrors, and a 100-inch smart TV.
• Groom’s private Lounge: An exclusive, air-conditioned area equipped with bumper pool and a 100” TV, perfect for bonding with Groomsmen and getting ready for the big event.
• Sound for Your Ceremony:
We provide a dedicated sound system including two microphones so your vows, speechs and chosen music will reach every guest to ensure a truly immersive experience.
• Lighting: Pathway lights direct your way as you stroll along the river from the ceremony to the reception area.
• Transportation: adjacent parking with transport on our modern golf carts to the ceremony site, then back to the cars as the evening winds down. Your guests can leave their cars overnight if needed, as long as they are picked up by 10:00 a.m. the next day.
• Restroom Facilities: Luxury bathrooms so you and your guests can feel comfortable and refreshed.
• Wi-Fi access, so you can share your photos and videos with your friends and family online in real time.
•Beverage Experience: Elevate your reception with our premier beverage services. Select from sophisticated or rustic options, including a curated wine list, premium champagne, margaritas, or a stylish artisan beer truck to complement your celebration perfectly.

Amenities and Restrictions

• No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.
• Approved outside caterer allowed (licensed & insured)
• Amplified music OK outdoors (must end by 11:30 pm Sat 10:30 Sun-Fri)

We recommend a bagpiper for pre & post-ceremony. We had one placed on the edge of the river whose “Amazing Grace”, and “The Wedding Song” and more delighted the guests as the sounds reverberated through the river valley.

Our restrooms are ADA accessible, but our property is mostly natural. Our trails are not paved and our ceremony sites are accessed by grass paths. We have one six-passenger golf cart and one 4 passenger golf cart that can transport guests to specific locations if needed. We can discuss the details with you or your guests to make sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable.

We determined long ago that the greatest joy of owning a stunning piece of property is sharing it with others. After getting married here ourselves, having several other friends get married here, and then bouncing the idea off pretty much everyone who’s visited in the last few years, I’ve received a unanimous “YES, THIS PLACE IS UNLIKE ANYWHERE ELSE FOR PEOPLE TO GET MARRIED, SO YOU JUST HAVE TO DO IT!” So here we are, offering what we believe will be a wedding experience you’ll enjoy as much as we enjoyed ours.
